Following snowfall on Saturday night and Tuesday morning, fresh snow is expected to push in from the southwest, with the potential for significant accumulations in some areas.
The Met Office predicts 2cm to 5cm of snow could blanket much of the region, with as much as 10cm possible over higher ground, particularly on east or northeast-facing slopes.
Temperatures are forecast to plummet as low as -3°C, with a daytime high of just 2°C.

Coastal areas, however, are more likely to see rain or sleet instead of snow.
Forecasters caution that the exact trajectory of the weather system remains uncertain, with a possibility that the snow and rain could remain further south over the English Channel.
As the precipitation clears on Wednesday evening and skies brighten, untreated surfaces are likely to freeze, creating icy conditions overnight.
The Met Office has also warned of potential disruptions, including a small chance of power outages and possible interruptions to mobile phone services.
No weather warnings are currently in place for Thursday, offering a potential reprieve from the wintry conditions.
Residents are advised to stay updated on the forecast and take precautions when travelling, as icy surfaces and snowy conditions could pose hazards.
