X-factor’s Cher Lloyd has revealed to her fans via Instagram that she will finally release a new song – Head Down.
The star, who lives in Malvern, is renowned for her hit singles Want U Back, Swagger Jagger and None of My Business.

Cher Lloyd wrote: “My heart is pounding.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve had this feeling.
“I couldn’t bear to tease any longer. It’s finally happening!”
The new single Head Down will be released on Friday, January 17 and can already be pre-saved.
She added: “My new single Head Down is out January 17, and you can pre-save / pre-add now.”
The singer, age 31, became famous in 2010 after appearing on The X Factor.
She later released her debut album, Sticks And Stones, and the number one song, Swagger Jagger.

Cher, now a mother of two, made her first stage appearance in a long time at Mighty Hoopla, where she debuted the song in 2024.
Many fans went to Instagram to share their excitement over reading the news.
One wrote: “It is time! We are so excited!
“Your comeback is needed for 2025.”
Another added: “This is the bestest thing to wake up to OMG.
“I am calling this my Spotify-wrapped song of the year already.”
Other fans said they had never pre-saved a song so quickly, and many others added that it was about time they heard more of her music.
One fan went on to say: “Guys wake up – the Queen is back.”
