Wolverley Secondary School was transformed into a glittering fairy tale kingdom as Wyre Forest Theatre Academy presented their enchanting production of Cinderella.

The timeless pantomime delivered everything audiences could hope for including laughter, magic and plenty of sparkle.

Principal Natalie Pritchard said: “This show was a wonderful celebration of creativity, passion and the magic of storytelling.

“I couldn’t be prouder of what our performers have achieved. A huge thank you to our Youth Theatre Leaders, Josh Chell, Hollie Christian Brookes and Olivia Darks, for their incredible support.”

The cast, which was made up of talented students from Worcestershire schools and home schoolers based in Kidderminster, Bewdley, Bromsgrove and more, brought the story to life with energy and heart.

From the hilarious moments to the toe-tapping musical numbers, the performance radiated passion and joy.

A particular highlight was Clare Parkinson as Buttons, whose comic timing and charisma totally stole the show.

She has been described as a “star in the making”.
