The development of the former Matalan unit into a self-storage unit has begun as workers start to take apart the inside of the building.
In December, planning permission was granted by Wiltshire Council to convert the former Matalan unit on Southampton Road into self-storage.
It will be occupied by the company ‘Here Self Storage’, and requires a lot of work to the site before it opens.

Matalan left Salisbury in April and an application was then made by the applicant, Mr G. Glew, to develop the Class E Retail facility into a Class B8 (self-storage) unit.
Plans show the design of the exterior of the site, as it is currently and what it is proposed to look like. Take a look at the pictures in the gallery.
