Worcestershire Ambassadors to donate £100,000 in 2025

Worcestershire Ambassadors, formed 25 years ago, aim to raise a further £100,000 in 2025 to mark its silver jubilee celebrations.

The funds will be distributed among 25 Worcestershire-based charities as part of its ’25 in 25′ initiative.

Its chairman, Jim McBride BEM, said: “This initiative will provide essential financial support to help charities, offering resources to enhance their impact.

“It recognises and celebrates the invaluable contribution of organisations within the Worcestershire community, highlighting their meaningful work.

“Additionally, it invites participants to be part of a historic celebration of local generosity, marking a significant milestone in regional support and collaboration.”

The funds will be raised through a series of events throughout the year, which are open to all, including non-members.

Charities wishing to benefit from the funds can apply by July 31.

The application form is available online.

Successful applicants will be notified by September 30, with the funds being handed over at a presentation ceremony at Worcester Guildhall on November 18.

The events’ details and tickets can be found on the organisation’s website.
