Worcester floods: Henwick Grove flooding but Hooked stays open

Hooked, a fish and chip shop in Broadway Grove in Dines Green, Worcester, remained open despite its car park being badly flooded and several cars marooned inside.

Flood water caused issues in Broadway Grove in Dines Green, St John’s, Worcester as the car park of Hooked was left underwater after heavy rain following a yellow weather warning for Monday and snowmelt.

Meanwhile, aerial photos showed the extent of the flooding from the Laugherne Brook.

The junction lies close to the brook and Cllr Udall said flooding was now happening at the same spot too often.
