ARV attend stabbing in west Belfast
A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed with a bottle during an incident at a block of flats in west Belfast.
The incident happened in the South Link area of the city shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday.
Police attended an address with the ambulance service and a man was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries to his arm.

A short time later Armed Response officers were scrambled to locate a suspect in the same block of flats.
Specialist officers with guns and TASERs drawn shouted warnings before forcing entry to a first-floor flat.
The heavily armed team swept the apartment but no one was found.

Officers then focused on a second property in the block – again warnings of “armed police, come to the door” were shouted.
The ARV team then gained entry using an enforcer, but the suspect was not located in the second flat.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said on Friday that a 37-year-old woman has been arrested.
“At around 5.30pm, we received a report that a man had been stabbed in the arm with a bottle at a property in the South Link area,” said police.
“Armed Response Officers attended and arrested a 37-year-old woman a short time later on suspicion of a number of offences including wounding.
“One man has been taken to hospital for treatment of injuries to his arm.
“Our investigation is ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have any witnessed the attack or anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with enquiries to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1166 – 02/01/25.”
