A Wick-based financial services firm has expanded its team with a new appointment to kick-start the new year.
Ben Anthoney started his role as mortgage and protection adviser with Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd on Monday.
Ben Anthoney joined Caithness company Phil Anderson Financial Services.
He is based in Thurso, which the company says marks an exciting milestone for the firm as its Caithness presence continues to grow.
With a well-established office in Wick already staffed by three professionals, the move increases the firm’s Caithness team to four, further strengthening the services available to clients across the region.
Mr Anthoney brings a decade of diverse experience from the retail and policing sectors. Phil Anderson Financial Services said this has equipped him with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client-focused skills. These qualities, combined with his passion for property and expertise in mortgage solutions, make him a valuable asset to the team.
Having entered the property industry in late 2019, Ben quickly developed a strong interest in mortgages, both as a professional and a personal investor. In 2024, he achieved full certification by successfully completing the CeMAP exams, cementing his credentials as a qualified adviser.
He said: “I am thrilled to join Phil Anderson Financial Services and bring my diverse background to help clients in Caithness and beyond. My goal is to provide trusted, tailored advice, ensuring clients feel confident in their decisions regarding home financing and protection.”
Phil Anderson, managing director of Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd, said: “We are excited to welcome Ben to our growing team in Caithness. His unique blend of skills and passion for helping clients find the right mortgage solutions align perfectly with our commitment to delivering excellent service. We look forward to seeing him thrive as part of the Phil Anderson Financial family.”
Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd offers a comprehensive range of financial advice, including mortgages, protection, investments, and pensions.
