Who should win our award for courage at the Inspiration Awards 2025?

Is your friend, work colleague or family member an inspiration for having faced adversity with bravery and courage?

Last year, Esther Ghey was the very worthy winner of our Courage Award at the Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards 2024.

Who will win the award for 2025?

In February 2023, Warrington was left heartbroken when teenager Brianna Ghey was brutally murdered in Culcheth Linear Park.

Brianna’s mum Esther started a campaign– Peace in Mind – and so began one mum’s dedication to her daughter’s lasting legacy.

When she collected her award, Esther said: “Brianna is the bravest person I’ve ever known – this award is for her.”

The Courage Award is one of 12 honours due to be handed out at the Inspiration Awards 2025 at The Village Hotel on Thursday, April 24.

The glittering awards ceremony will honour the great and the good of Warrington from charity champions to health heroes and good neighbours to educational leaders.

The event will be hosted once again by Hits Radio Breakfast Show host Leanne Campbell and is held in association with Warrington Borough Council and Redwood Bank.

Do you know a young person who deserves our Child / Teenager of the Year Award?

Maybe you work with someone who has carried out an act of kindness and should take home our Contribution to the Community Award.

Does your friend work tirelessly for a local charity, fundraising for the latest campaigns?

The Inspiration Awards 2023 and 2024 were a huge success and we want the 2025 event to be the biggest and bet yet.
