The cold weather this week has seen temperatures drop well below 0C across the south. After a yellow weather warning was issued midweek, parts of Wiltshire may experience snow this weekend as the alert has heightened to amber.
You will want to wrap up warm on Saturday, as temperatures are not forecast to surpass 4C all day.
A yellow warning for snow and ice has been issued for Salisbury across the weekend, narrowly missing an amber warning for north Wiltshire during the same period.

Will it snow this weekend? (Image: Newsquest) On Saturday evening, January 4, Salisbury can expect to see sleet between 5pm and 8pm, according to the Met Office.
Temperatures will pick up again on Sunday, January 5, as high as 11C, although this increase will be short-lived as temperatures drop again on Monday.
Sunday is forecast to see rain all day, with winds likely to reach around 40mph.
While snow is not strictly forecast for Salisbury this weekend, aside from sleet on Saturday, forecasts do show that we may see snow later next week.
