From hidden gems to well-loved waterfalls which gather crowds of tourists, there is something for everyone.
Ombersley ‘hidden’ waterfall
Location: Near Ombersley Cricket Club Main Road, Droitwich WR9 0ET
Approximate travel time: 16 minutes

Most of us know about the waterfall next to Ombersley Cricket Club, but there are so many other destinations to visit across the country.

Astbury Falls Waterfall
Location: Astbury Falls, Bridgnorth WV16 6AT
Approximate travel time: One hour and three minutes
The waterfall is just a five-minute walk from Astbury Falls Luxury Retreats and is accessible to the public.
Water Break-Its-Neck
Location: A44, New Radnor, Presteigne LD8 2TN
Approximate travel time: One hour and 23 minutes
There are three short trails waymarked with coloured signs for people to enjoy before reaching the waterfall.
One visitor said: “This was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. My first visit was during the winter after heavy snow.
“We only just managed to reach the car park by car but am so glad we did. It was like walking into an enchanted forest.
“Absolutely magical place.”

Sgwd Yr Eira Waterfall
Location: River Hepste
Approximate travel time: One hour 57 minutes
This waterfall is located in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Trust
Sgwd Yr Eira means ‘waterfall of the snow’ in Welsh and is located on the River Hepste.
Access to Sgwd yr Eira is via a footpath that leads through the woods, before ascending a steep staircase that leads to the pathway behind the waterfall.
Visitors can park in the Four Waterfalls Car Park between 10am to 8pm every day and parking costs £5.
