Since New Year’s Day, Ms Hall has been visiting the areas in her constituency affected by flooding.
Ms Hall said she will do ‘everything in her power to champion the need for defences and new measures’ in Warrington South.
She said she has also placed additional requests for sandbags.
In an update last night, Monday, Ms Hall said: “This afternoon in Parliament, minister for water and flooding Emma Hardy MP gave a statement on the New Year Floods and subsequent flood warnings in place in the north west.
“Following my conversations with the minister highlighting the situation in Warrington South she raised our unique position and the affect it has had on families in the chamber.
“The minister has committed more than £2 billion in funding to build and maintain flood defences and improve flood resilience with some specific decisions made next month.
“I will be fighting to secure this funding and will be meeting the minister here in Warrington South at the earliest opportunity.
“I understand the importance of delivering a scheme that will protect constituents’ homes, and I will do everything in my power to champion the need for defences and new measures here in Warrington South.”
Ms Hall says she is in frequent contact with the Environment Agency, United Utilities and Warrington Borough Council.
As well as making additional requests for sandbags at properties in key areas, Ms Hall says she has been continuing to offer support, including for food and cleaning supplies, to those impacted by flooding.

Talking about the floodings in Warrington in Parliament, Emma Hardy MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for environment, food and rural affairs, said: “Cheshire was a specific area of concern.
“A major incident was declared, with over 100 families in the Warrington area needing evacuation.
“A large section of the Bridgewater canal’s embankment collapsed, with water draining on to farmland and inundating a waste water treatment works owned by United Utilities.
“The owner of the canal, Peel Holdings, took emergency action to stop the flow of water and, although the treatment works were inaccessible for a time, United Utilities has assured us that the plant is back up and running.”
