A stellar cast will be performing ‘Aladdie’ later this year at the historic venue, following the success of 2024’s Mother Goose.
A spokesperson for the theatre said: “Less the Far East, more the very, very far East of Ayrshire, the Ancient McMinger Dynasty rule the land from their seat of power in Old New Cumnock Town.
“Aladdie’s adventures catapult him into deep trouble he can’t get out of alone – thank goodness then for family – and an Ayrshire family at that.
“Magic, mayhem, mischief and even Maybole abound in this re-telling of an old tale – this isn’t Aladdin. It’s Aladdie!
“This will truly be a festive treat, so don’t wait for the genie to grant your wish – book your tickets today.”
The panto will be written by Fraser Boyle, who co-wrote last year’s Mother Goose and 2023’s Cinderella.

Organisers have also thanked cast, crew and audiences following the success of Mother Goose’s seven-week run.
A spokesperson added: “Huge thanks to our incredible cast, creatives, stage and production team, Gaiety staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication over the past year to pull this incredible show together – and to writers Ken Alexander and Fraser Boyle for bringing the biggest goose energy to our little corner of the pantosphere.
“And of course panto would be nothing without our incredible audiences – thank you so much to everyone who joined us over the past seven weeks.”
