A fund-raising ticket competition raised more than £600 for charity and saw a fan enjoy a VIP meet and greet at a top vocal group’s Bury St Edmunds performance.
Judith Biggs, of Stanningfield, won a G4 ticket raffle, in aid of MyWiSH Charity, and met G4 at their St Edmundsbury Cathedral concert on December 21.
The tickets to the sold-out show were donated to the charity by Tricia Forrest-Morley, of Rattlesden, who has campaigned on behalf of My WiSH Charity in memory of her mum, who lived with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Ticket winner Judith said: “I hadn’t been to a concert in such a long time, so I was glad I went into the hospital and talked with the volunteers selling tickets that day.
“My friend and I had a very special time at the G4 concert at the cathedral. It was excellent and will stay with me for a long time. It was cold and dark outside, but the concert was so warm and uplifting.”
Judith enjoyed it so much that she is looking into attending G4’s next Bury concert, in June.
The ticket raffle raised £633.60, to boost dementia care at West Suffolk Hospital.
Tanya Fifield, My WiSH Charity’s fund-raising officer, said: “We are so grateful to everyone who entered the competition and those who generously donated to support dementia care at the hospital. We’re thrilled with this incredible total and delighted Judith had such a wonderful time.
“We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our amazing charity volunteers Kate Plume and Denise Aldridge, who gave their time to help sell tickets at the hospital and in the community. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
