A 23-year-old mum-of-two fears for the health of her young children after struggling with serious mould issues at her home for months.
Chelsea Vickers, of Nessa Close, Thetford, has taken her one-year-old girl to the doctors multiple times in the last few months and her son, two, has been suffering with a painful cough.
Havebury Housing Partnership, which owns the home, said it was working with Chelsea to resolve the issues.

Chelsea moved into the flat in April 2022 and said the mould was there before she moved in and, despite repeated and various attempts to get rid of it, it has continued to grow.
“I am extremely scared and I fear for the safety of my children as it is seriously affecting their health as well as mine,” she said.
“Both of them have had barking coughs and we really struggle to breathe during the night.

“The doctors have said it could be due to the mould and I’ve been told to get out of the flat as soon as possible.
“This is not safe at all for any of us.”
The mould is on window sills, curtains, bedding and mattresses, and is in every room in the flat.

A Havebury spokesperson said they took reports of damp and mould very seriously.
They have completed both stages of its damp and mould process and an independent specialist has completed a survey which found no structural issues.
Repairs have either been undertaken or are booked in to be completed.

They will continue to monitor any ongoing issues and work with Chelsea on any extra measures which can improve the ventilation of her home.
