A village pub has been crowned the best pub in Suffolk by a national newspaper.
The Telegraph described the White Horse, in Edwardstone, as a successful rural pub as it took the top spot for the county.
Its review read: “How do you make a really rural pub like The White Horse a success?

“For landlord Tom Norton, it’s a matter of giving people plenty of reasons to make the trip.
“There’s a brewery, a campsite, homemade pizza and regular festivals to tempt customers out to this remote spot.”
Its owners describe the pub as an ‘Oasis of great drinks in South Suffolk’.
The White Horse has an on-site brewery creating barrel-aged sour beers and has more than 15 beverages on tap.
The pub is currently shut for the winter period and is set to reopen on January 17.
Other winners from the East of England include the Fat Cat, in Norwich, and The Queen’s Head, in Newton, which took the top spot in Cambridgeshire.
The owners of The White Horse have been approached for comment.
