THE Met Office has issued a new yellow weather warning this morning (January 5) with predications of heavy rain across the south west of England.
Following patches of snowfall yesterday evening (January 4) the Met Office has issued additional yellow and amber weather warnings around the country for the rest of the weekend and into next week.
In Somerset, heavy rainfall is expected through the course of Sunday and overnight into Monday morning (January 6), bringing the potential for difficult travelling conditions, transport disruptions and some localised flooding. The weather warning is in place until 9am on Monday.

Those travelling are advised to anticipate longer journey times and journey disruptions.
