Taylor Wimpey donates Christmas gifts to Shooting Star

Taylor Wimpey West London, based in Hook, has been working with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices throughout 2024.

The hospice, which supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Surrey and Greater London, cares for around 500 children and young adults, as well as 200 bereaved families.

The Hook-based team set up a Christmas tree at their head office in Bartley Way, with different envelopes hung on the branches, each containing a Christmas wish.

Emma Watson, senior sales manager at Taylor Wimpey West London, said: “It was a very special moment for the team when we were able to make those wishes come true by delivering gifts to the Shooting Stars children and their families.

“We have been delighted that we have been able to support them, not just at Christmas, but throughout 2024.

“Every year, we let the team decide which charity they wish to support and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices was a very popular choice because of the incredible and invaluable work they do supporting families going through such a difficult time.”

The team has also helped with work repairs and enhancements at the hospices.
