Lisa Harrison, 45, of Coleridge Gardens, Stanley, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 6, 2025, for sentencing.

Harrison was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the victim, £150 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £114 victim services surcharge.

Prosecutor Paige Sparks, representing CPS North East, highlighted the serious nature of the offence, which was aggravated due to the victim being an emergency worker.

Defence counsel Jaxon Taylor emphasised Harrison’s willingness to comply with the court’s orders and the inclusion of treatment as part of her rehabilitation.
