Social Sticks, on Station Street in the town centre, combines golf simulators, darts, shuffleboard and a live sports bar in one venue.
The golf simulators at the venue are aimed at all abilities – from seasoned golfers to beginners. It’s for both golf enthusiasts and casual social groups looking for a day out or night out in the town.

Elliot Newton, the managing director of Social Sticks, wanted to create a “one-of-a-kind” experience in the heart of his hometown. He wanted to open a unique entertainment venue catering to a wide range of people – something he felt was lacking in the town centre.
The 27-year-old previously ran the Queens Head pub for five years and the nearby bar the Dry Spy. He is running the new venue with business partners Max Chinnock, Drew Newton and Rhys Webber.

Mr Newton said: “My partners and I are delighted to have opened this venue in our hometown of Bromsgrove.
“We’re passionate about contributing to the town’s growth and helping to increase footfall in the town centre.
“The journey to get here hasn’t been without its challenges, but as a young entrepreneur, I saw this as a risk worth taking despite the current economic climate.

He added: “We’re also committed to collaborating with as many local independent businesses as possible to create a vibrant and supportive community.
“Our focus is on making Social Sticks a success while continuously learning and improving along the way.”
