Andrew Wickham has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to the bus industry. The New Year Honours list marks the achievements and services of people across the UK.
Andrew said: “I am delighted and humbled to have been recognised with an MBE – and am proud that my long career and dedication to the bus industry has been recognised in such a prestigious way.

(Image: Salisbury Reds) Andrew graduated from Aston University in 1987 with a BSc (Hons) in Transport Operation and Planning and joined Brighton Borough Transport in 1986, whilst at university.
Over the years, he has held various roles across the country – including at London General Transport Services and Plymouth Citybus – and is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT).
Since 2011, Andrew has been the managing director at Salisbury Reds, leading the company through challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
