Two flood alerts are currently in place on the river Severn at Kempsey village and in Worcestershire.
The Environment Agency warns the river levels are rising at the Kempsey Yacht Club river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
It said: “Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible.
“We expect flooding to affect low lying land and Squires walk in the area of the Hatfield Brook Kempsey.”
Kempsey Yacht Club is currently peaking at between 4.6 to 5.1m, however, there is further rainfall forecast over the next 48 hours.
“We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
“Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.”
River levels remain high at the Bewdley river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall with flooding of roads and farmland possible.
The Environment Agency said: “We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Highley to Tewkesbury.
“Locations affected are Stourport, Holt Fleet, Worcester, Kempsey, Severn Stoke and Upton upon Severn. Install property level protection if required. ”
Saxons Lode is peaking at between 3.5 to 4m.
There is also a flood alert for Bow and Piddle Brook with flooding expected overnight and on Monday morning (January 5).
There is also a flood alert at the river Avon in Worcestershire as river levels have risen at the Evesham river gauge.
Predicted peaks and in Evesham between 2.5m to 2.8m on Tuesday morning (December 7) and Bredon at 2.8m to 3.2m on Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
There is another flood alert for rivers in south Worcestershire as river levels have risen at the Sedgeberrow River gauge as a result of recent rainfall.
Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible tomorrow morning (Monday).
Flooding is expected to affect low-lying land adjacent to the river from North Littleton to Winchcombe. Other locations that may be affected are Badsey, Childswickham, Broadway, Sedgeberrow and Toddington.
Predicted peaks are in Sedgeberrow at 1.6m to 2.3m on Monday morning and Hinton on the Green between 2.3m to 3.8m on Monday morning.
