A warning has been issued following a rise in quad bike thefts on the north Wales and Shropshire border.
Police say that a number of quad bikes have beens stolen from agricultural premises in West Mercia.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police, said: “Our colleagues in West Mercia have informed us that a number of quad bikes have been stolen from agricultural premises in West Mercia close to the North Wales border.
“We would urge all farmers to take extra steps to secure their vehicles. Remove keys when not in use, keep them out of sight, block them in if possible and be vigilant.
“In the meantime we will be liaising with our colleagues in West Mercia and increasing patrols in the area to try and prevent and detect any offences.”
