Retail unit in popular Inverness market space becomes available as tailoring shop shuts

Stich in Time has closed down.

A unit in the Victorian Market has become available as popular tailoring shop Stitch in Time has shut down.

The alterations service had been a prominent feature in the market for 12 years, but the owner has now decided to move down south.

Landlord, Fergus Ewart said he was a great tenant and that the shop was doing well.

He is now hoping that someone else will fill the vacant spot.

Mr Ewart, who also owns the units where Aeturnum and Cafe de Paulo sit, said: “I think we should easily be able to fill it as the Victorian Market is really busy these days.

“The food court has enhanced the offering and helped the other businesses become busier.

“The unit would work for someone who wanted to do retail, or have a wee sandwich shop or takeaway with the correct planning consent.”

For enquiries about letting the unit, contact Mr Ewart on: 07768796239.
