Police officers are investigating a “serious assault” on a London Overground train in Enfield.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) say the incident took place on a Weaver Line service north of Southbury Station and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At around 9.15pm on Saturday, 23rd November, on a train between Southbury and Theobalds Grove stations, a man was shoved and assaulted by two men and left bleeding on the floor.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 169. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
