Otterbourne care home residents perform Cinderella pantomime

The residents, staff, friends and family from Shawford Springs Care Home watched a pantomime of Cinderella performed by fellow residents and colleagues.

The group of residents, along with the activities team, came together to put on the show.

After weeks of rehearsals and costume preparation, the pantomime was a huge success.

The room was filled with laughter, cheers and some classic pantomime banter.

Nick, the resident ambassador, said: “Being part of this panto was great fun. There were so many witty jokes and innuendos, but we all managed to deliver our lines like professionals.

“There were nerves in the build-up, but we just enjoyed every second.”

General manager Cassie Munnoch said: “Our residents and staff had a wonderful time at the show – truly brilliant. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Shawford Springs as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites.”

Shawford Springs Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
