A part of the North Coast 500 will remain closed due to snow until at least Monday, motorists have been warned.
The Bealach na Ba’s snow gates were closed on January 2.
And in Highland Council’s most recent update, it advised drivers that they will stay shut until Monday “due to adverse weather conditions”.
The update comes as the Met Office issues further weather warnings for snow and ice in parts of the Highlands.
And longer range forecasts are predicting that the recent Arctic snap will continue through next week.
Confirming the Bealach na Ba’s continued closure, Highland Council said: “Bealach na Ba C1087 from A896 at Tornapress to Camusteel road junction, Applecross will remain closed until Monday, January 6 due to adverse weather conditions. Alternative route is via C1087 from C1091 (coast road).”
