New B&M in Woodhall Business Park, Sudbury, will create 90 jobs

A new discount store opening in Sudbury will create 90 jobs, it has been confirmed.

B&M will welcome customers to the new branch at the former B&Q at Woodhall Business Park at 9am on January 23.

The B&Q closed this summer due to the expiry of its lease.

The 25,703sqft store will contain a 10,269sqft garden centre.

It will stock a variety of food and drink, health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games and gifts.

The store’s manager said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome new customers through the door.”
