The incident occurred between 10 p.m. on December 29 and 11 a.m. on December 30, just days before the start of the New Year.
The woman, seen in CCTV footage armed with a sharp object, caused damage to the vehicles leaving scratches across multiple panels of the 11 vehicles.

This is because the scratches are on four panels including the doors, lights, and petrol cap.
Kamran Ali said: “I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I feel sorry for the others too as one has just bought a brand new car a week ago and now its scratched.
“It was a new years gift to everyone I believe. It is the second time it has happened to me in nine months.”

Police are now investigating the number of incidents of criminal damage which took place in North Lodge Terrace, Darlington.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: “Police are investigating a number of incidents of criminal damage which took place in North Lodge Terrace, Darlington.
“Officers have received reports of 11 vehicles being damaged by being scratched with a sharp implement. The vehicles were damaged at some point between 10pm on December 29 and 11am on December 30.
“Investigations are continuing, including examining CCTV from the area. Anyone with information is asked to ring Durham Constabulary on 101, referencing incident 116 of December 30”.
