The Met Office has put a yellow weather warning for rain as it reveals predicted heavy rainfall and thawing snow could lead to county-wide flooding.
Yesterday, the Met Office issued an amber weather warning for snow for Worcestershire and expects to see 7cm of snowfall in just a few hours.

Worcestershire’s snow and ice warning is still in place but a heavy rainfall warning has been added.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Snow and freezing rain will likely lead to disruption to transport and some other services.
“Heavy rain and thawing snow leading to some flooding in places.

“15 to 25 mm rainfall, combined with some thaw of lying snow, may lead to flooding and travel disruption in places.
“Check if your property could be at risk of flooding.
“If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit.”
The heavy rain warning will be in place between 6am and 9pm tomorrow (Sunday),, affecting mainly northwestern Worcestershire.
Worcestershire’s snow and ice warnings are in effect from 6pm today (Saturday) until 12pm tomorrow.
