Memories of The Carlton Club in Warrington 25 years on

The Carlton Club was a cherished venue for many locals, known for its welcoming atmosphere and lively events.

Lisamarie Kinney shared her experience, saying, “Every weekend at rock night was like a house party – everyone knew everyone in there.

Many patrons recall the club as a safe space where trouble was rare, thanks in part to “3 good old fashioned bouncers,” as Ms Kinney described.

Carol Millward reminisced about sneaking in before she was of age, recalling, “Half a Lager was 9 pence.

“Remember seeing Ben E King there.
