Man stabbed near Leytonstone pub

A 58-year-old man was rushed to hospital early this morning

A 58-year-old man was stabbed on Leytonstone High Road near the Plough and Harrow pub early this morning.

Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Leytonstone High Road at 6.19am today (15th January).

A spokesperson from the force said that the 58-year-old was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service and was taken to hospital where his condition was deemed “not to be life-threatening or life-changing”.

A crime scene remains in place outside the Plough and Harrow pub on Leytonstone High Road while specialist officers conduct an investigation into the incident.
