Man sought by police after cashpoint at Asda in Totton targeted in theft and attempted theft offences

POLICE probing theft and attempted theft offences at a Totton supermarket’s cashpoint have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace.

The three reported incidents involving the ATM at Asda on Maynard Road took place between Sunday 1st December 2024 and Friday 3rd January.

People are now being urged to come forward if they can help identify the man shown in the pictures.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”

Officers are also keen to hear from witnesses, as well as those with useful CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage.
