Larmer Tree, in Tollard Royal, has been announced as a South West Regional Winner at The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 in the wedding venue (other) category.
The venue boasts 11 acres of grounds, with the capacity to host indoor and outdoor weddings on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
The gardens at the Rushmore Estate were the first privately owned gardens in England to be opened to the public, officially opening in 1880.

The winners of the Wedding Industry Awards are named based on average voter scores and feedback from customers over the past 12 months and the opinion of more than 150 expert judges. The 2025 Awards saw 27,300 votes cast for 1,500 entrants.
Of these, 1,100 independent companies became regional finalists.

Larmer Tree will now go to the final in London on January 22.

Wedding and events venue manager Amy Reid said: “It was great, really an honour as there are so many gorgeous venues in the area and now we’re one of the top 10 in the country.
“It’s such a unique venue. And location – it’s a really historic venue and we say it’s ‘the wild card’ as it doesn’t fall into a category – it’s not a stately home and not a barn either.
“We’re super excited [about the final] – we’re nervous because it’s so hard when there’s 10 venues across the country.”
