Kidderminster’s Brintons Carpets awarded Royal Warrant

Heritage brand Brintons Carpets has proudly announced the news that it has been given His Majesty The King’s Royal Warrant in the latest review of Warrant Holders.

Founded in Kidderminster by William Brinton in 1783, Brintons Carpets has masterfully balanced tradition with innovation throughout its history.

Brintons was first awarded the Royal Warrant during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II in 1958 with the company being privileged to deliver bespoke carpet designs for several iconic royal residences.

“For more than 65 years, we have been privileged to serve the Royal Household, and this recognition inspires us to continue delivering exceptional flooring choices and service for generations to come.”

The company holds one of the industry’s largest historical pattern libraries and maintains its position as the world’s largest user of British wool.

This aligns with the company’s support of the Campaign for Wool, initiated by King Charles III, championing wool’s natural and sustainable benefits.

Brintons; expertise spans both Wilton and Axminster carpet constructions with the latter’s patented design dating back to 1890.

Whilst the company pioneered the industry standard 80/20 wool-nylon blend in 1950, it has recently expanded its focus to include environmentally conscious 100 per cent undyed wool collections.
