Kelty man travels from Glasgow to Bulgaria with Flixbus

At just 19 years old, Jordan Stewart decided to take on a 58-hour solo trip using only Flixbus services- travelling an incredible 1,947 miles.

Jordan, who loves the company, said: “I am a huge FlixBus fan and use their services in Scotland regularly, so I wanted to see how far I could go in one trip!

“I never thought I could do something like this on my own, so I’m really proud of how well I managed to navigate the different countries. FlixBus made the interconnections easy to understand.”

With only an hour between services in the French capital, Jordan had just enough time to enjoy dinner in the 30-degree heat before setting off for Munich.

The Munich bus was an overnight one and Jordan was able to catch some sleep before arriving at 9 am local time.

The last leg of his journey saw him depart from Munich Central Bus Station at 11am and took him through gorgeous Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Bulgaria, arriving in Sofia at 4.45am on Sunday, July, three days after setting off.

Jordan added: “Despite the long journey, I would do the trip again, maybe with another hotel stay to break up the trip, as 58 hours on the road is a lot in one go!”
