A Leyton teenager was fatally struck by a Central Line train at Barkingside Station in September last year, a court has heard.
Felikss Stolarovs, 18, from the Leyton Grange estate, was named at a brief pre-inquest hearing at Walthamstow Coroners Court on 6th January.
He died at Barkingside Station after being struck by a train on 30th September.
As the Romford Recorder reports, senior east London coroner Graeme Irvine ordered a post-mortem examination which gave the cause of death as multiple injuries caused by train collision.
Ordering the disclosure of a summary of Stolarovs’s GP records, alongside ambulance service records and a report by the British Transport Police, Irvine told the court the teenager’s cause of death was “unnatural”.
The circumstances that led to the train collision are not known.
A full inquest will be held on 11th August.
