Visitors will be able to undergo health checks and discuss their needs at two wellbeing days across the Royal Borough’s leisure centres next month.
Organised by Leisure Focus Health, the events will see a host of health-related activities take place and people will also be able to have an informal chat with specialists about their health needs.
The events are free to attend and will take place from 10am to 2pm on Monday, May 13 at Windsor Leisure Centre and on Tuesday, May 14 at Braywick Leisure Centre.
At both events visitors will be able to have free BMI checks and free blood pressure checks.
Yoga sea exercise classes will also be offered as well as information on gym membership and services and free inclusive wellbeing walks.
A variety of specialists will also be available for people to have an informal chat discussing their health needs have their questions answered.
These including the Leisure Focus Wellbeing Team, NHS health coaches, NHS social prescribers, Sport in Mind, Optalis Demetia Care, Talking Tables and the Rotary club.
Leisure Focus Health’s qualified team of exercise specialists provide one-to-one support to aid people on their health improvement journey.
As a referral partner, the team receives referrals from GPs, medical practitioners and selected clinical referral partners and provide support to people.
