Readers are in for a treat as Hampshire country pub, The Mutton, at Hazeley Heath brings ‘A Taste of Scotland,’ to the venue, an evening dedicated to honouring the legacy of Robert Burns.
Scheduled for Thursday, January 23, the event promises an immersive experience filled with Scottish tradition, exquisite cuisine, and lively melodies.
The celebration begins at 6.30pm, with head chef Rob Boer presenting a five-course menu that showcases the best of Scottish flavours. Guests will indulge in dishes such as Peppered Mutton Pie, Smoked Haddock Fish Cake with Cock-a-Leekie Sauce and a Slow-Cooked Egg, Roasted Beef Rump accompanied by Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties Suet Pudding, A refreshing Irn-Bru Sorbet, Dundee Cake Trifle with Whisky Jelly and Shortbread.
