The Worcestershire Ambassadors was formed in 2000, and has been raising money for charities in the county ever since.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the group has announced a special initiative called 25 in 25.
The aim of the initiative is to raise £100,000 in 2025 and donate the funds to 25 Worcestershire-based charities.
The group’s chairman, Jim McBride BEM, said: “This initiative will provide essential financial support to help charities, offering resources to enhance their impact.
“It recognises and celebrates the invaluable contribution of organisations within the Worcestershire community, highlighting their meaningful work.
“Additionally, it invites participants to be part of a historic celebration of local generosity, marking a significant milestone in regional support and collaboration.”
The funds will be raised through a series of events throughout the year, which are open to both members and non-members.
Charities can apply for funding online, with applications closing on July 31.
The successful applicants will be notified by September 30, and the funds will be handed over at a presentation ceremony at Worcester Guildhall on November 18.
