A Greggs bakery is to open at a petrol station after plans were approved.
The chain will join Hothfield Service Station on A20 Maidstone Road near Ashford, opposite the Beefeater restaurant.

Plans to build a hot-food takeaway next to the Londis shop at the Esso garage were approved in April, after being submitted by the site’s owner Motor Fuel Group.
But at the time it was not known what food would be on offer.
Now plans for a five-metre high totem pole advertising Greggs have been green-lit and the chain has confirmed it is preparing to open later this year.
It is not yet clear when construction will start, but the bakery is due to open on Thursday, May 29.
It will be inside a new extension set to be built to the left of the shop, currently used as a bin storage area.

A new refuse area will then be built behind the forecourt.
Once up and running, it will create three new jobs at the service station.
Two new parking spaces for customers would be created on the service station’s forecourt, while three staff parking spaces and an extra customer parking bay would be created behind the building near Ram Lane.
It will be the third Greggs in the Ashford area, joining one in the high street and another at the Ashford Retail Park in Sevington next to Costa and Hobbycraft.
