Gerwyn Price celebrating during his third round win over Joe Cullen
Gerwyn Price will take on Jonny Clayton in an all-Welsh fourth round clash at the World Darts Championship on Sunday December 29.
It comes after Price, from Markham, survived a scare in a dramatic third round encounter with Joe Cullen on Friday December 27.
Price surrendered a 3-0 lead and survived a match dart from Cullen, who landed a 170 checkout to force a deciding leg, in which Price prevailed.
It means the Iceman will now face his World Cup of Darts teammate in a match that pits the two highest ranked Welsh players against each other.
“I’m not playing Jonny, I’m playing the board, just like I always do,” said Price.

“I’ll go up there and concentrate on my game, we’ll shake hands after and may the best man win.”
Speaking following his win over Cullen, Price said: “I’ve got a lot more in the tank, I can play a lot better than I played tonight.
“Joe made it so tough, he just kept coming back at me and I actually thought I was going to lose the game.
“I was just desperate to get over the winning line after putting myself in a tricky position, but thankfully I got the win.”
Clayton, from Pontyberem in Carmarthenshire, qualified for the fourth round after beating Daryl Gurney 4-3 on Friday.
Jonny Clayton is currently ranked seventh on the PDC Order of Merit
