Maggie, a three-legged domestic shorthair, is looking for a loving home after her word drastically changed after a road incident.
The affectionate cat has been described as in need of a fresh start after struggling to cope in her previous home next to a busy road.
Amie Jones, Worcestershire Animal Rescue shelter operational manager, said: “This affectionate, gentle girl came to us as sadly she wasn’t coping in the home after a previous road accident.
“She was limited in her outdoor access because the property’s road was too busy.

“Understandably, this girl needed a fresh start after some changes.
“She is looking to now have some 1-1 love and attention and hopefully have her own safe enclosed garden so she can sunbathe to her heart’s content.”
Worcestershire Animal Shelter hopes Maggie will be able to find a loving home soon. (Image: Chris Hermiston/ Worcestershire Animal Shelter) The charity said Maggie tends to be a bit reserved and will need a companion who enjoys sitting near and being around her.
She will need a home where she is the only pet and will be suitable as an adult-only place.
Worcestershire Animal Rescue accepts abandoned, unwanted, and mistreated animals and seeks to rehome them after rehabilitation.
The charity was formed in 1983 and opened its doors to the public in 2001.
