The former Home Bargains unit at Darlington Retail Park, off Yarm Road, has been put up for rent for an undisclosed price per year.
The 12,024 sq ft unit – which is located next to Currys PC World – has remained closed since the discount retailer relocated in September 2022.
It didn’t move far – opening up a couple of doors down at the retail park in an amalgamated unit made up of the former Bensons for Beds, Harveys, and Furniture Village.
Details regarding the sale – advertised by agent Morgan Williams – remain sparse, other than the unit being listed as available and the price being available upon application.

A brochure online states that the site benefits from a full open A1 planning consent – meaning for shops and general retail.
All the units also benefit from the sale of food, meaning the former Home Bargains unit could be suited to several different uses.
