On Thursday, December 30, Test Valley Borough Council’s litter campaign posted pictures of a recent fly-tip on Old Salisbury Lane, near The Duke on the Test.
The campaign wrote: “We recently removed this fly-tip from Old Salisbury Lane, not far from the Duke on the Test.

The pictures of the illegally dumped waste show a mattress, mop buckets, seat covers, full bin bags and a carpet.
The fly-tip comes weeks after Hampshire County Council launched a new survey to help it understand the experiences and impacts of fly-tipping in Hampshire and to develop ways to prevent illegal dumping.
Test Valley Borough Council reposted the campaign’s post on Thursday, January 2. It said: “Do you know anything about this fly tip on Old Salisbury Lane?”
