It’s part of their ‘Giving Something Back’ programme, with recipients including Dunfermline, Levenmouth and Kirkcaldy foodbanks, as well as Frontline Fife and Fife Women’s Aid.
Suzanne Hume, the group’s engagement officer, said: “It’s really special to give that little bit of extra support at this time of year to these incredible charities making a real difference across Fife.
“We know that the festive season can be a tough time for many people, and it was heartwarming speaking to staff from Kirkcaldy Foodbank and Fife Women’s Aid to find out about their work and how they are coping with the Christmas demand.”
The funding is a result of the group’s contractors donating two per cent of their invoiced costs.
The programme also awarded over £18,500 to 10 groups over the course of the year.
Beverley Graham, director of housing, said: “Giving back to our communities is very important to all of us at Fife Housing Group, especially at this time of year.
“With prices continuing to rise and the cost of living crisis continuing to put people under a lot of pressure, we want to help as many people as possible through this difficult winter.”
