Fife Council have confirmed that damage found to Paton Street playpark was vandalism.
As previously reported in the Press, Councillor Gordon Pryde spoke of the damage to the small play house on the site.
He said: “There’s an open wee house and it has a seat, and the seat doesn’t appear to be there, but it seems to have come off at the bracket.

Parks development officer Clair Lovett said: “The play area has been well used since it opened last year and it’s very disappointing that it’s been the subject of vandalism for the second time.
“Colleagues from our grounds maintenance team have been on site to make the area safe and we’re arranging for the equipment to be fixed as soon as possible.”
