Dance music DJ Example will headline the three-day festival on Friday July 24 after coming off two years on the festival circuit, including performances at Glastonbury, Creamfields and Latitude.
He is being followed up on Saturday July 25 by rock-band Embrace who are coming to Southend following a massive sell-out 20th anniversary tour and the Libertines front-man Peter Doherty as he plays a special solo set with his band.

The final headliner is Soul II Soul, who bring a 15-piece band to the park for a soul and RnB afternoon set.
Lazydays celebrated a massively successful inaugural year in 2024 which saw more than 2,500 people attend.
Co-founder Mike Bromfield said: “We are really excited and we are trying to bring something different to Southend, every artist we booked we are big fans of.
“It is really great as residents to be able to bring big names to the town and there is more to come. We have another 30-plus people to announce, our next big announcement is on January 16. People will be excited and there are a couple of big surprises.
“A lot of these acts are from my teenage years – acts I grew up listening to. I remember seeing Example at Brownstock in South Woodham ten years ago and that is a really exciting announcement for me and Embrace too, a lot of their hits were on the radio when I was a teen.

Co-founded by Mike, Elliot Water and Andy Williamson, the festival is also looking to expand after applying to Southend Council to almost double the events capacity and remove restrictions on under-18s.
A spokesman for the festival said: “We’re excited to announced Example, one of the UK’s biggest dance music icons, will ‘kickstart’ Lazydays 2025 with a bang on July 25.
“And off the back of their 20th anniversary tour for their double-platinum number one album Out of Nothing, Embrace are bringing their anthemic choruses and chart-topping hits to Priory Park.
“It’s going to be epic, plus we’ve got some great supports to announce.”
