England football legend David Seaman to reopen Warrington Go Outdoors

Go Outdoors is reopen for business tomorrow, Friday, with former England and Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman the special guest at a grand reopening event next Friday, January 25.

He will greet the first 200 groups through the doors at the Wilson Patten Street store with a free goody bag.

The celebrations will then continue throughout the day, with family entertainment including a DJ and facepainting.

Store manager Andrew O’Connor said: “We are extremely excited and proud to open the newly refurbished Go Outdoors.

“We have had a brilliant couple of years, as more and more people are reaping the benefits of the outdoors for their physical and mental wellbeing, and this expansion is the outcome of that success.

“We are looking forward to offering more customers our unbeatable range of outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, while also supporting communities and offering jobs in Warrington.”

The newly refurbished store has ample free customer parking and will stock a wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Hi-Gear and Brasher.

The 23,600 foot store offers services such as boot and rucksack fitting, as well as collection and drop-off points for parcels from online orders, Evri, UPS and DPD collections.

There will also be an In-Post facility where customers can collect parcels throughout the day.
