Westacre Middle School in Droitwich has been awarded the national Centre of Excellence award for the third year in a row.
The award recognises the school’s provision for all of its pupils.
The report from the Inclusion Quality Mark team said: “Westacre Middle School is a highly inclusive establishment where the needs of all children from all backgrounds and of all abilities are identified, supported, and effectively met.”
Catherine Doolin, deputy headteacher and inclusion leader, said: “We are delighted with the report, which reflects the hard work of our staff and pupils.
“Getting to know all of our children individually is a priority and we ensure all pupils have the support and challenge needed to make sure they fulfil their potential and have a positive school experience.”
The report praised the school for “prioritising academic excellence” and providing a “rigorous and engaging curriculum”.
It also recognised the importance of a well-rounded education, promoting free extracurricular activities and events that cater to pupils’ diverse interests and talents.
The school’s extensive pastoral support was also highlighted as a strength.
Headteacher Donna Evans said: “We are extremely proud of the school offer we provide for our pupils and we are thrilled with the IQM report.”
